Who I Am

Maths teacher. AI educator. Proof that this works.

I am Michael – a maths teacher and the Head of AI Integration at a tech-forward online school in South Africa, and the founder of an AI literacy education practice built from my classroom for the classroom. I’ve watched AI reshape how my students learn, how teachers assess, and how schools operate – mostly without anyone stopping to teach any of it intentionally. That’s the gap I work in. Through teacher workshops, school licensing programmes, and online content, I help educators move from anxious bystanders to confident guides. My students are my live case study: using AI as a Socratic tutor across all subjects, building real thinking skills alongside real AI fluency. Everything I teach, I’ve tested at school first.
